MGNA
Our association provides competitive and social netball opportunities for all participants who want to play, umpire or coach, and welcome all ages and levels of experience and ability.
Our association values friendship, community spirit, teamwork and respect to all members – from our volunteers to our umpires and parents.
Our Volunteers and Life Members are active and engaged members in our organisation, and we are grateful and thankful for their outstanding contributions to the development of netball with us. Without their support we wouldn’t be able to do what we do!

Our History
Mount Gambier Netball Association celebrates 80 years in 2024.
First known as the Mount Gambier Women’s Basketball Association, the first registered games were played on the 3rd June 1944 on basketball and tennis courts in Glencoe, Allendale and at various school and church facilities across Mount Gambier.
Through hard work and fundraising the MGNA were slowly able to secure a facility at Olympic Park and their three original "rubble" courts with hand painted lines eventually grew to 14 sealed courts under lights.
Fast forward to 2024, and the Mount Gambier Netball Association comprises more than 500 players across six clubs, supported by countless volunteers, family, friends, and sponsors.
